Client Correspondence is mailbox content associated with a Client Account only after the relevant client domain and correspondent have been explicitly approved and an authorized bounded synchronization has run.
What the implemented Gmail path does
The current implementation supports:
- an authorized Mailbox Connection;
- approved client-domain rules;
- discovery of correspondent candidates;
- explicit allow or deny decisions;
- synchronization of up to the configured bounded period;
- encrypted retained subject, snippet, and plain-text body content;
- exclusion of attachments from retained correspondence;
- account-scoped content permission checks;
- audit records for synchronization and reads.
An email address, authenticated mailbox, provider message, and retained Client Correspondence are different concepts. Approving a domain does not grant every user the right to read mailbox content, and connecting Gmail does not automatically make all messages canonical agency records.
